Course Description: The object of this course is to learn the basics of Arabic grammar including conjugations, tenses, cases, and forms (I through X) of Arabic verbs, along with basic vocabulary. The emphasis will be on understanding how the language functions from a technical standpoint, as opposed to conversational Arabic or Qur'anic Arabic. The objective will be that after taking one year of Webb Foundation Arabic, a student should have a significant advantage entering college-level Arabic 101; for a more competitive student taking two successive years of Webb Foundation Arabic, the goal should be placing out of college-level Arabic 101.
