Friday, September 29 - Webb Youth Iftar: "Renewal in Ramadan"

Webb Youth held another Iftar for the youth of the Muslim community. This event placed an emphasis on understanding the importance of not only memorizing but knowing lines from the Qur'an. While breaking their fasts, groups worked together to develop presentations of different lines from the Qur'an to everyone else.

June Events

Wedensday, June 14 - Summer Kickoff Campfire

The Webb Youth started the summer with a Summer Kickoff Campfire, the theme being "Rekindling the Flame of Islam." Members participated in a scavenger hunt, read sayings of the Prophet, and most importantly, enjoyed s'mores around a campfire!

October Events

Friday, October 28 - Webb Youth Iftar

As a way to wrap up the month of Ramadan, the Webb Youth gathered together for an evening of faith, food, and fun. Activities for the evening included skits - creatively performed by the attendees themselves - and spiritual reflection.

February Events

Sunday, February 20 - Afternoon at the Movies: Remember the Titans

The Webb Youth held their first formal event, "A Black History Month Event: Remember the Titans" where we got together to watch the movie, and followed it up with a discussion on African American history, civil rights, and the development of an American-Muslim culture.
